Hello Eema! Nurturing Whole Health for Moms and Children—Growing with Faith, Hope, and Love
By: Nicole Lea, Founder & CEO of Hello Eema, and Contributing Author, Kathryn Italia, MD
We welcome you to Hello Eema! All mamas are invited to join us on this journey of Nurturing Whole Health…Growing Together with Faith, Hope and Love! We offer encouragement for spiritual growth and practical guidance for physical, emotional and cognitive health for you and your baby.
At the heart of whole health is love. Jesus summed it up clearly:
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30–31).
In this quote, Jesus notes the connection between heart, soul, mind and strength. Hello Eema is built on the belief that mothers need both evidence-based pediatric health guidance and spiritual encouragement to flourish in their motherhood journey. We believe every mom can be empowered to embrace her faith, confidently care for her children, and nurture whole health.
This journey began years ago when I was volunteering at a women’s crisis pregnancy center and searched for a resource that would help these women cultivate their spiritual health with their physical and emotional well-being. I envisioned a guide that acknowledged the profound connection between faith and motherhood. Yet, nothing I found bridged medical advice with a spiritual foundation. From that experience, Hello Eema was born.
You can be assured that what you find at Hello Eema and in our first book is based on evidence based health guidance, years of experience in health care, and wisdom gained from our own journeys as mothers.
At Hello Eema, you’ll discover practical guidance grounded in faith, enriched by expertise in nursing and medical sciences, and shaped by real motherhood experiences.
We offer resources to help you navigate your child’s physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development while nurturing a growing, heartfelt relationship with Christ.
Welcome aboard!
Faith and Motherhood: A Sacred Journey
Motherhood is one of the most beautiful and sacred callings; and also one of the most challenging. In today's world of endless information and contradictory advice, many mothers feel overwhelmed and uncertain. Social media presents impossible standards while the internet often leaves us more anxious than assured.
What we need most is both practical wisdom and spiritual truth. This is what God offers, and this is the heart of Hello Eema.
We provide practical tools to support the physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual well-being of both mother and child—always with a relationship with God at the center of holistic health.
As a new mother, your world centers around caring for your infant, your family, and yourself. These are sacred callings. Remember this: You are not only doing this for God’s glory, you are doing this with Him! You are His beloved daughter, and through you, the love of Jesus flows into your home.
“See what love the Father has bestowed on us that we may be called the children of God. Yet so we are.” (1 John 3:1).
When this truth becomes our foundation, we are free to mother, love, and live without the crushing weight of the world’s impossible standards.
Choosing to use our freedom to embrace both our faith and our calling as mothers is what inspired Hello Eema. We understand the challenges of balancing spiritual growth and taking care of ourselves with the practical demands of motherhood, and we're here to walk alongside you.
The Promise of Hello Eema
Our promise is simple: to guide, educate, and to nurture whole health for you and your child, growing together with faith, hope, and love.

Motherhood is messy and holy, exhausting and beautiful, ordinary and eternal. Through it all, God is with you. As you nurture your child’s whole health, may you also nurture your own. “So, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in him, rooted in him and built upon him and established in the faith as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.” (Colossians 2:6-7).

Practical Tips for Today
Whole health is built one small step at a time. Here are three simple practices you can begin right now:
Pray the Our Father three times. Let the truth of the words sink deep into your heart, especially the phrase “Thy will be done.”
Take a seven-minute break. Read or listen to the daily Scripture readings. Ask God: What are You saying to me today?
Create a gratitude ritual. During your baby’s bedtime routine, share three things you’re thankful for. Even if your little one is too young to understand, this practice helps cultivate a spirit of appreciation and teaches them to recognize God’s daily blessings.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13).
